THE BEST MAGICIAN Article of the Webmaster Who is the best magician? Let's first take a look at the 2 popular performers. David Copperfield and David Blaine. David Copperfield makes the audience feel in a world of fantasy, he is highly entertaining when he performs because he uses good music, and brings his own original touch to stage illusions And he dresses in highly casual attire and makes the audience comfortable with him. Instead of sawing himself in half like the old magicians do, he used the rotating death saw that cut him in half visually! Also, separated his torso from his body by laser! David Blaine was popular because he had his own style--Street Magic. But it doesn't mean he is the best. His magic requires a LOT of advanced prep work, and some can be performed with a high price to pay, some magicians here know what I'm talking about. It's even possible that England Card Sensation Guy Hollingworth has more skill with the deck than Blaine. But the street magician managed to entertain audiences with his style of presentation even though his magic isn't really the best. For Lance Burton, he is a VERY entertaining performer but only performs at the Monte Carlo, in Las Vegas for his 1996-2009 contract and maybe he isn't as original in style as the two magicians above. So who is the best magician? You judge! RULES OF MAGIC Article by the Webmaster Here's a short article. First, the only way to know if your trick works is to go out and perform it. The reactions of your audience members will tell you how good you have done a trick and will teach you on how to improve your style of presentation later on. Don't forget to practice the magic before you do that! Most people ask you how the trick is done. One way of getting out is to teach them any Poker Cheat you know or coin flourish, etc. that shows that magic is hard. Or you can even pretend to be teaching them but stump them anyway. NEVER repeat the magic you have shown to a spectator no matter how they beg you. Explain this to them, and you can even say entertainers usually show their acts once and ONLY once.. Performing street magic is also cool! The strangers you peform for usually don't bug you if you walk away. David Blaine even got the reaction this guy approaches you and f--ks you up! Doing magic is the best but be sure to find your own ways of not becoming a victim to your audience! hope this helped
